FAITH FORMATION

Religious Education at St. Anne Catholic Church is led by Bea Cox. She is able to foster the faith development of children, youth, and adults with the help of many lay-people who have received instruction in teaching and are formally called catechists.

children and youth Faith formation

Saint Anne Catholic Church offers Faith Formation to children and youth from pre-k to 12th grade. We offer ongoing sacramental classes and sacramental preparation classes as well as biblical understating classes, classes on morality, faith, and world religions. We are blessed to have dedicated catechists who are proficient in teaching kids in creative ways, while remaining true to the doctrine of our beautiful Catholic faith. Children and Youth Faith Formation is offered Sunday mornings, beginning with a meeting at 11:00 am in the Church, followed by class, and ending at 12:15 pm. Please note that confirmation class lets out around 1:30 pm. Please check the weekly bulletin and the schedule below for more information and for any updates.

Adult faith formation

Saint Anne Catholic Church is proud to have a very active adult faith formation program. Adult faith formation enhances the faith of adult parishioners. Through the years many programs have been offered including various Bible Studies (on the book of Psalms and on a Biblical Timeline), a class on the Beauty of Catholicism, The Reformations, and the Mass, to name a few. Please check this website, the bulletin, and listen for the announcements to know when and where the next Bible study will be and what it will be on. Signup sheets will be available on the table in the Hall and Church whenever a class is offered. They will also be located on this website under the section "Resources and Forms"

For more information please contact the church office. We look forward to assisting you in the enrichment of your faith.

Rite of Christian initiation for children (r.C.I.C)

This class is offered every Tuesday at 5:00 pm in the Parish Hall. In this class young men and women meet to learn more about the Catholic Faith through Biblical Timelines, class discussions on what it means to be Catholic, and many other teachings. Through this education, these children and youth will be prepared to strongly make a choice about their faith and prepare to receive Baptism, First Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation. These young people are striving to know God's love, so please keep them in your prayers. For more information, please contact the church office.

Rite of Christian initiation for adults (R.C.I.A.)

The R.C.I.A. class is taught by our very own Deacon Frank Jones. . This class is open to everyone, Catholics and non-Catholics. It is a wonderful class for Catholics as it re-familiarizes them to their faith and helps them grow in their love of God, themselves, and each other. Deacon Frank meets bi-weekly with non-initiated men and women who would like to learn about the Catholic faith in hopes of taking the next step on their faith journey. These people need our prayers and support as they are considering being Baptized Catholic, receiving their First Communion, experiencing their First Reconciliation, and receiving the Holy Spirit in Confirmation. We are excited to invite these individuals into our Catholic Family. Classes are held every other Tuesday in the Faith Formation Building.  For more information, please contact the church office.
